Spark of the Everflame

Hi Friends! I haven’t loved a book this much in such a long time (like maybe as much as A Court of Thorns and Roses). I flew through it and needed the next book immediately and then the next.

There were so many tropes that I absolutely love, slow burn, and I mean sloooooowwww burn, enemies to lovers, tons of snarky banter, magic, an epic world, and a take no shit female main character.

The world that Penn Cole creates is so captivating. She really has me invested in the main characters. I love Diem’s story and her internal struggle to do/figure out what the right path is. And did I mention there is a Shaddow Daddy, hello Luther!

This book was a five star for me! Spice was slow but the story was incredible. Highly recommend if you liked ACOTAR or Fourth Wing.
